Cadillac CT5-V and CT4-V 2020 official prices announcedNovember 27, 2019
Sport sedans are much cheaper than their predecessors, but they are also inferior in power.
The Cadillac release of its new compact and mid-size sedans was full of disappointment and even some controversy, especially for GM fans. The high-performance V-models CT4 and CT5 debuted back in June with horsepower figures that were horrificly overwhelming compared to their predecessors. The last piece of the V series puzzle is the price that has been kept secret for a long time. Now that there is only a month left until 2020, the manufacturer called the cost of new products.
In case you were upset by the power drop of the model, take comfort in the fact that prices also fell. The base model CT4-V will cost customers $ 45,490, while the all-wheel drive version has a price tag of $ 46,590. For comparison, the latest ATS-V started at around $ 60,000. Recall that the performance of the CT4-V is 325 horsepower (242 kW) compared with 464 hp (346 kW) from its fantastic predecessor.
As for the CT5-V, then the price difference is even greater. Models with rear-wheel drive cost from $ 48,690, and all-wheel drive – from $ 51,290. It’s almost half the size of the monstrous CTS-V, but you also get almost half the horsepower under the hood – 360 hp (268 kW) from the Twin-Turbo V6 compared to the 640-horsepower (477 kW) from the 6.2-liter V8 that powered the V-badged CTS.
