Cadillac Announces Increasing Prices for Powerful Sedan …March 17, 2019
The American brand has raised the price for the “charged” version of the sedan CT6-V for $ 4,000.
According to reporters from the foreign edition of Cars Direct, the American automaker, the Cadillac company, has decided to increase prices for its sports sedan CT6-V. If earlier, this car could be purchased for 88 790 dollars, now the price tag has risen to 92 790 dollars. The gain amounted to $ 4,000.
It is noteworthy that the automaker did not make any changes to the list of standard car equipment.
I will note that last year, the guys announced that the “charged” model of the CTS-V will cease to exist, and its place will occupy the sedan CT6-V. Under the hood of the latter is the 4.2-liter V8 Blackwing with a 550 hp dual turbocharger, which by the way was widely advertised by Cadillac. Then in November last year, representatives of the GM concern, which includes Cadillac, announced that several cars will be removed from production plans, including a relatively new CT6 – this is a US car market.
But apparently the guys from Cadillac are all right and false, wanting to keep CT6 in the US. It is reported that the “charged” version of the model (CT6-V) can become even more expensive and luxurious. GM has just announced that production at its Detroit-Hatrammake plant will continue throughout 2019, with CT6 production extended for another six months.
That’s apparently on this wave, the guys from Cadillac and decided “a bit” to raise prices for their model.
