Cadillac announced the premiere date of the new EscaladeDecember 16, 2019
Cadillac Corporation announced that it will introduce the next generation Escalade on February 4 next year.
It is already known that the T1XX architecture from the Chevrolet Silverado will form the basis of the SUV, but it will acquire a multi-link rear suspension.
The appearance of the novelty has already been disclosed: photo spies were able to capture the car at the enterprise. The car will lose vertical headlights and a signature angular design, while it retains a radiator grille with chrome trim. In size, the Escalade and Escalade ESV will be comparable to the new Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban.
The interior of the new model is made in the style of the prototype Escala 2016. Judging by the spy shots, an unfixed joystick on the central tunnel and a multimedia system combined with a virtual dashboard will appear in the cabin.
The engine range is still being disclosed, however, it is assumed that it will include an atmospheric V8 6.2, a V6 3.0 turbo engine, a Duramax 3.0 diesel engine, and also electric motors. At the same time, it is known for sure that the SUV will not acquire a 4.2 liter V8 Blackwing engine with a capacity of 550 hp.
