BYD will sell electric sedan in EuropeMay 14, 2020
A Chinese company intends to sell Han’s electric sedan in Europe.
Earlier this month, AutoTimesNews reported that the Chinese giant Build Your Dreams (BYD) spoke of its desire to gain a foothold in the European market with an all-electric Tang. At the moment, information has appeared that the company is not going to stop there and is introducing in Europe an electric version of the Han farm sedan, which can be purchased at home in variations of EV and PHEV.
Han EV has a length of 4.98 meters, a width of 1.91 meters and a height of 1.5 meters. An “eccentrically aligned” Han EV can be bought in China with two types of electric power plants: with one 222-horsepower electric motor located at the rear, as well as with two electric motors (one on each axis) with a total power of 272 hp
The power reserve of the most powerful version is 450 kilometers. This all-wheel drive variation can accelerate to a speed of 100 km / h in just 3.9 seconds. The most powerful at the moment is the only engine mentioned in the Han EV variants intended for the European car market.
Europeans will be able to buy a fairly well-equipped electric sedan. The luxurious interior compares favorably with attractive materials and two digital screens, one of which acts as a toolbar. In addition, BYD reports that the model has a 5G connection. The company even talked about the estimated European price from 45,000 to 55,000 euros
