In autumn, the implementation of the new version of the liftback Buick Regal will begin. The novelty will occupy the highest step in the line of the model and will be distinguished by a more luxurious finish and more expensive standard equipment.
Buick Regal is an adapted version of Opel Insignia. The model was introduced in the spring of 2017, and in America it is also proposed and the elevator and station wagon. It is noteworthy that now Opel belongs to the French concern PSA Groupe and has no any ties with Buick, but the model was developed even before the sale of Opel, and therefore has all the rights to manufacture and sale.
But as you can guess, now each model has its own way of development. Now the company starts selling a new version of the liftback Buick Regal Avenir, and for the versatile luxury version will remain inaccessible.
In the exterior design there are not so many changes, and the most notable is the new grille with a fine-mesh structure. In addition, the liftback received a nameplate with the inscription “Avenir”, which let everyone know that they have a luxury version in front of them, as well as new 19-inch light-alloy wheels.
The salon of the car has received more changes and first of all the new leather furnish of seats with a rhombic stitch and an embossing is appreciable. Another important change is the new multimedia system, which integrates a voice assistant, navigation, and a rear-view camera.
Already in the standard equipment, the car received a separate climate system, adaptive front optics, branded Bose acoustics, an air ionizer, a pocket for wireless charging of the phone, as well as an active and passive safety system with automatic emergency stop systems, blind zone monitoring, adaptive cruise control and etc.
Under the hood of changes is not expected, and there will still be a two-liter turbo with a maximum output of up to 250 horsepower. Moreover, the standard version can be equipped with the all-wheel drive system, but the luxurious novelty will be offered exclusively in the front-wheel drive version.
The start of sales is planned for autumn, but so far the official price list has not been reported. At the moment in America you can buy a standard version of the Buick Regal Sportback for $ 25,000.
