Bugatti’s unreleased hypercar is already being resoldJune 18, 2021
The French firm Luxury Car Consulting has put up for sale one of ten planned Bugatti Centodieci hypercars. The hypercar itself has not yet been produced, so what is being sold is, in fact, a place in the queue – the so-called “production slot”. The seller does not indicate the price, but James Edition specifies that the future hypercar is estimated at 10.5 million euros.
The Bugatti Centodieci was introduced 2 years ago. Then the company claimed that all the hypercars that Bugatti was going to release already have their owners, and the starting price of the unique novelty was 8 million euros. Apparently, one of the production slots was booked by a reseller who decided to cash in on a rare hypercar. At the same time, it is noted that since the assembly of the car has not yet started, the buyer of the slot will have the opportunity to personalize the finish of the hypercar according to his own taste.
Centodieci is based on the legendary Chiron and is equipped with the same engine – 8.0-liter W16, boosted to 1600 hp. power. The hypercar differs from the base model in a completely different body design, which is designed to remind of the famous Bugatti EB1100 SS. The hypercar takes 2.4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h at a top speed of 380 km / h.
In August last year, it became known that one of the 10 buyers of Centodieci is football player Cristiano Ronaldo. But he will have to wait at least another year: preparations for the assembly of serial copies of the Centodieci started in February, and deliveries will begin in 2022.
