Bugatti will assemble a single copy of the Chiron RoadsterJune 26, 2020
According to preliminary data, the open-top Bugatti Chiron will cost more than $ 10 million.
In recent years, several new Bugatti Chiron variants have been released, from the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ record holder to the track-oriented Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport and special versions such as the Bugatti Divo, Bugatti Centodieci and Bugatti La Voiture Noir. But four years after the launch of the Chiron, the Bugatti never released the roadster version as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. Earlier, Bugatti said it had no plans to build a Chiron roadster, but, as it became known, the company still made an exception for a single buyer.
Details are not yet known, but it is reported that the only open-top Bugatti Chiron will still reach its customer. As expected, it will cost much more than the standard Chiron, which is already valued at $ 3 million.
According to preliminary data, the Bugatti Chiron roadster (final name not confirmed) will cost about $ 10 million, making the open-top Chiron even more expensive than the Bugatti Centodieci. However, this will not make it the most expensive Bugatti – this title belongs to the Bugatti La Voiture Noir, which was sold for a whopping $ 18 million
Like the standard car, the Bugatti Chiron Roadster will feature an 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder four-cylinder engine with 1,500 horsepower, which will make the open-top Chiron one of the fastest convertibles ever made.
The high asking price and limited edition also suggest that it will be more than just a roofless Chiron. Potentially, it could be a speedster with an individual design and a swirling windshield inspired by the Veyron Barchetta concept, which never got into mass production.
