A couple of hours ago, the press service of the French brand Bugatti published on its official page in the social network Facebook several videos that are devoted to a completely new hypercar, which will be named Divo. It is already known that the novelty will be presented at the end of this month – and to be more precise, on August 24.
It is noteworthy that at the moment, on the page of the automaker in Facebook there are already 8 short videos – each video lasts about 30 seconds. Unfortunately, so far we have not learned anything new about the hypercar Bugatti Divo.
In one of the published videos, the general director of the French automaker Stephen Winckelmann tells us that their new car, which is built on the basis of the Chiron model, will be even easier and will boast a lot of “downforce, so it will become very agile.” Well, the chief designer of Bugatti company Achim Anshajdt tells us that the car is named after the famous Bugatti racer, who participated in the races of the distant 1920 – it’s about Albert Divo. It was noted that the new Divo retains the signature appearance that is characteristic of all Bugatti models, but it will receive a substantially redesigned style of decoration.
When the Bugatti Chiron debuted in 2016 with a 4-cylinder turbocharged W16 engine, everyone expected him to become the king of speed. He set a record accelerating to 400 km / h, but then came Koenigsegg with Agera RS, who was able to show the best result. It remains only to hope that the new Bugatti Divo will be able to surpass all other models of the French brand in all respects, as well as the Swedish competitor.
