Bugatti Showcases Aviation Chiron SportNovember 24, 2020
The French brand Bugatti has shown a special variation of the Chiron hypercar under the name Les Legendes du Ciel, which in French means “Legends of Heaven”.
A special performance was dedicated to the famous racers of the 20s of the last century, who were also considered aces pilots. The novelty stands out from the rest of the Chiron by the Gris Serpen body shade, characteristic of the fuselages of combat aircraft of the 1920s. The carbon fiber side skirts are adorned with a French flag. Inconel material was used for the manufacture of the exhaust pipes.
The interior, which has been finished with leather and aluminum, features graphics on the door cards showing the race between the classic Bugatti Type 12 sports car and the Nieuport 17 biplane. The technical equipment has not changed. The Chiron is powered by a 1500-horsepower 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers. The car can accelerate to the first 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and accelerate to a maximum of 440 km / h.
The special edition Les Legendes du Ciel will have a circulation of only 20 copies, each of which will cost 2.88 million euros. The Bugatti Chiron hypercar will be released in the amount of 500 units.
In addition, some time ago, the fuel consumption of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport hypercar became known. It should be emphasized that this supercar of the French company can cover a distance of up to 340 kilometers without refueling in the urban cycle.
