Bugatti Chiron Super Sport hypercar shown at the Milan Motor ShowJune 12, 2021
The French automaker has unveiled an exclusive version of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar, dubbed Super Sport, at the Milan Motor Show. The mintage of this expensive hypercar is limited to only 9 copies.
The Milan Open Air Motor Show in Monza, Italy is a special occasion for Bugatti. First appearing in public, the Chiron Super Sport and Bolide hypercars are exclusive guests of the event. Bugatti President Stefan Winkelmann personally sat behind the wheel of the new Chiron Super Sport.
Just a few days ago, the Chiron Super Sport made its online debut. The special edition Chiron, limited to just nine pieces, is virtually identical to the Chiron Pur Sport.
While the Chiron Super Sport retains the Chiron’s elongated body, the finish differs from the famous Super Sport 300+. In terms of performance, the Super Sport uses a W16 8.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops a whopping 1,577 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque.
Thanks to this power, the latest Bugatti can accelerate to 200 km / h in 5.8 seconds and to 300 km / h in 12.1 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 440 km / h, just like the Super Sport 300+.
Compared to the standard Chiron, the Chiron Super Sport is 23 kilograms lighter, has a 3.6 percent longer seventh gear and is 7 percent faster at 400 km / h.
As for the Bugatti Bolide, the hypercar, which is primarily intended for the racetrack, was unveiled online last year before being delivered to its owner shortly after. Wild looks aside, Bugatti said it was developed from the W16 engine with minimum weight for an impressive 0.67kg / hp weight-to-power ratio.
The Chiron Super Sport is worth a staggering 3.2 million euros. The Milan Motor Show in Monza (MIMO) will take place from 10 to 13 June 2021.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that Bugatti presented an exclusive version of the Chiron Super Sport. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is a new rendition of the hypercar that the automaker unveiled a couple of minutes ago. The car can reach the maximum possible speed of 439.26 km / h. This novelty is even more exclusive than the previously presented Super Sport 300+.
