Watch Factory Jacob & Co. introduced the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon watch, the mechanism of which imitates the operation of the W16 engine. Caliber JCAM37 is assembled manually from 578 parts and mounted on shock absorbing springs. The cost of hours is $ 280,000.

Model Jacob & Co. The Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon is equipped with a complex manual-winding mechanism, which has a cylinder block, a crankshaft and pistons that mimic the work of the Shiron sixteen-cylinder engine. When you press a button on the right side of the case, the shaft begins to unwind from one of the winding drums, forcing the “engine” to work. At the same time, a pair of tiny “turbochargers” that control torque rotates on the side.

The watch received a flying tourbillon, the carriage of which is tilted at an angle of 30 degrees, and a power reserve indicator in the form of a fuel level sensor. The mechanism is mounted on several shock absorbing springs; instead of a rigid rod connecting the crown to the spring, a flexible rod is used. Another feature is the repeater mechanism built into the “engine”, which creates a “motor noise”. The case is made of titanium, and the glass is sapphire.

Parmigiani has dedicated its watch to the Bugatti Chiron hypercar. The Bugatti Type 390 model was developed for five years. It is a cylindrical block connected to a rectangular module, where the skeletonized dial is located. The mechanism of this watch is no less complicated: it consists of two clockwork drums and connected to them through a three-level planetary system with a tourbillon demultiplier.
