
Bugatti Bolide hypercar unveiled
October 28, 2020Bugatti has unveiled the very powerful Bolide track hypercar.
This supercar is equipped with an 8.0-liter engine producing 1825 hp. and 1850 Nm of torque. This power was achieved thanks to the supply of 110 octane racing fuel and new turbochargers.
The novelty weighing 1240 kg can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 2.17 seconds, to 200 km / h in 4.36 seconds, to 300 km / h in 7.37 seconds, to 400 km / h in 12, 08 seconds at a top speed of over 500 km / h.
As for the design of the novelty, it is actually very futuristic. The vehicle thus boasts what Bugatti refers to as a “morphing outer skin” for the roof with an original shape to improve aerodynamics.
Speaking of the dimensions of the model, it has 995 millimeters, as a result, the new product is about 300 mm lower than the standard Chiron. In turn, the most original design element, X-shaped headlights at the front and rear, make the car look like cars from a sci-fi movie.
The cost of the Bolide model, which the specialists of the French company developed over eight months, has not been disclosed, as Bugatti has not yet decided on the production of this incredibly productive hypercar.
In addition, it was recently noted that the German corporation Volkswagen Group may sell the brands Bugatti and Lamborghini. It should be emphasized that the management of the German concern will take a corresponding decision in November this year.
