Budget analog pickup Toyota Tundra appeared in a new designDecember 19, 2019
The Chinese company ZX Auto is preparing the public premiere of the new version of the ZX Terralord pickup truck. Spy shots of future news on the eve hit the Web.
An inexpensive analogue of Toyota Tundra – a restyled ZX Terralord pickup truck, whose name translates as “lord of the earth” – received a new design. The model has acquired a more overall grille, a redesigned front bumper and upgraded head optics. With such changes, the car began to look even more like a second-generation Toyota Tundra pickup, the model of 2013. The length of the Chinese pickup reaches 5,341 mm with a wheelbase of 3,230 mm. The auto salon also received its portion of updates, and also in the spirit of the “pre-reform” Toyota Tundra.
But on the technical side there are no similarities between these pickups. The ZX Terralord engine range includes a 2.4-liter 218-horsepower turbo engine, created with the participation of Mitsubishi experts, as well as a 2.5-liter 129-horsepower turbodiesel from Isuzu. The drive can be rear or full.
Already in the “base”, the Chinese pickup truck receives ABS, ESP, 17-inch alloy wheels, a descent and lift assistance system, etc. Also among the options for the updated ZX Terralord are LED DRLs, parking sensors, video surveillance cameras, a standard navigator, pressure sensors in tires, multimedia with an eight-inch touchscreen, leather trim and much more. For the most affordable ZX Terralord at Chinese car dealerships, they ask for 97,900 yuan
