The mid-size crossover Haima 8S, whose appearance was copied from the current generation Hyundai Santa Fe, went on sale this summer. Now it has become known that the brand will add a hybrid to the gasoline version of the SUV.
The Haima 8S crossover will get a rechargeable hybrid version. The power plant of such a car will consist of a 1.6-liter turbo engine and an electric engine. On one electricity, the novelty will travel up to 80 kilometers. Also announced and fully electric modification.
Standard cross drives one of two gasoline turbo engines: a 1.2-liter 148-horsepower or 1.6-liter with a return of 194 hp A couple of them are 6AKPP or seven-speed “robot”. But the four-wheel drive model is not put.
The crossover, whose length reaches 4,565 mm with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, is based on the HMGA platform, which provides an independent front suspension. In the Haima 8S, we see a stylish truncated steering wheel, modern multimedia with a “soaring” touch screen, an electronic gear lever, as well as an original front panel with three massive ventilation deflectors in the center.
Among the available options for the Chinese cross – adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, frontal collision avoidance assistant, leather interior, etc. Hybrid prices have not been disclosed. Haima 8S gasoline is estimated at 85,900 yuan. For comparison, the new Hyundai Santa Fe in the Chinese car market costs 202,800 yuan
