Brilliance goes to Europe: V7 full-size crossover is preparing to debutFebruary 2, 2019
The new crossover of the Chinese concern Brilliance, which has a joint venture with BMW, was first spotted on trials in Europe. The company has not yet commented on the situation, but this may indicate an imminent entry into the local market.
A test prototype of the Brilliance V7 crossover was seen on European roads. The car passes winter tests, but no details yet. Taking into account the fact that the company is not represented in Europe, the presence of a prototype is a sign of a possible exit of the Chinese concern to the local market.
No details about the new product yet. Judging by the camouflage – the processing of the design will be large-scale. In the photos we see that the model is not yet serial: an incomprehensible head optics has been installed, not yet a standard grille, strange wheel arches and door sills.
Apparently, the company is preparing an adapted international version. Interior photos show us a design with a distinctive infotainment system with a screen in portrait mode, as well as a Volvo-style dashboard.
What will happen to the motor line is unknown. Entry into the European market is also not confirmed. Therefore, there are many mysteries and understatement. In Russia now Brilliance is not in the best shape. For the entire 2018, only 171 cars were sold.
In China, Brilliance introduced the new SUV V7, which received a motor from BMW, and became the most expensive in the company’s model lineup. The car is already available for purchase, as reported by the press service of the Chinese giant.
