Brabus made a new Mercedes-AMG G63 700-hpSeptember 26, 2018
Atelier Brabus has developed a new package of improvements for the hot Mercedes-AMG G 63
At the exhibition of boats and yachts in Monaco, the Brabus studio presented a set of improvements for the “hot” Mercedes-AMG G 63. The off-roader received a new aerodynamic body kit, leather-trimmed two-color interior and a power boost unit B40-700.
The basic biturbo eight V8 volume of four liters, engineers Brabus staffed with a new control unit with a rewritten map of the angles of ignition timing and injection, while slightly increasing the boost pressure.
As a result, the engine output from 585 forces and 850 Nm torque increased to 700 hp and 950 Nm. In combination with the nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the unit accelerates the Brabus 700 Widestar to a 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The initial machine requires 4.5 seconds.
The SUV is also equipped with a sport exhaust system with electronically controlled valves, two stainless steel nozzles and a variable tonality, aluminum paddle lugs, wheeled arches integrated in light-emitting diodes, 20 or 23-inch wheels and an auxiliary lighting unit on the roof.
Salon Brabus 700 Widestar can be made in accordance with the wishes of the client. The interior of the car exhibited in Monaco used leather of two colors – vanilla and black – with orange accents, decorative stitching and quilted central section of seats and door panels.
The new Mercedes-AMG G 63 debuted in February. The SUV received a new engine with a four-cylinder shutdown system at low loads, a front independent suspension on double wishbones with electronically controlled shock absorbers and an off-road driving electronics operating mode.
