The German studio presented a powerful hatchback Brabus A35, which takes only 4.4 seconds to accelerate to the first “hundred”.
This year, the Frankfurt Motor Show, of course, was presented a lot of fast hatchbacks, including the Mercedes-AMG A35 4MATIC from Brabus, which can be customized according to the choice of the future buyer. German experts first modified the 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine with the PowerXtra B 35 tuning kit, which increases power by 44 hp. and torque of 60 Nm – the final result is 350 hp power and 460 Nm of torque.
However, if the customer selects the PowerXtra + kit instead, he will receive a total of 365 hp. power with a torque of 486 Nm, which, together with a 7-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system with double clutch, can accelerate a compact hatchback to 100 km / h in just 4.4 seconds.
Other performance-oriented mods include a stainless steel sports exhaust system with integrated sound control that can work with either standard tailpipes or with four optionally available Brabus stainless steel / carbon tips.
Also, the novelty received a new front spoiler, consisting of two parts, elements of the side air intake and a new rear wing, which replaces the serial spoiler, providing “optimal aerodynamic balance and an even more breathtaking rear view.”
It should be noted glossy alloy wheels with a Brabus Monoblock T design with a dimension of 8.5Jx19 front and rear, covered with Pirelli P Zero 235/35 ZR 19 rubber. As for the interior, it can be adapted precisely to the client’s taste in terms of color and upholstery design.
