Bollinger will develop a fully electric vanAugust 28, 2020
A model called Deliver-E has already been announced. Previously, the American startup specialized only in large electric SUVs.
Bollinger, a startup that specializes in the development and production of brutal electric off-road vehicles, has decided to master a new LCV segment for itself. The company has already announced the Deliver-E van and has shown it in the first images. From a technical point of view, the novelty will use the same components as the Bollinger SUVs. The warranty period of the main parts of Bollinger electric cars, which are motors, gearboxes and inverters, reaches 10 years.
Bollinger said that the new van will be very convenient for deliveries in terms of layout and availability of everything needed, and the battery capacity will be from 75 to 210 kW / h. Thus, the machines will be very easy to operate and will provide a high power reserve. Other advantages include minimal environmental pollution. Separately, it should be said that the segment of electric vans is gaining more and more popularity in the USA.
By the way, Amazon has already bought Rivian electric vans for 100,000, and UPS has purchased 10,000 of these from Arrival from the UK.
Meanwhile, German auto giant Volkswagen has unveiled the exterior of its new electric crossover ID.4. You can take a look at the exterior of the novelty on fresh teasers. Previously, Volkswagen only shared images of the front of the car.
