A 1991 BMW Z1 Roadster is up for auction on eBay.
First unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1987, the Z1 is a 2-seater roadster that is unique in that it has doors that go up and down vertically. As follows from the description to the ad, the car of the German brand that has appeared on sale has plastic body panels, which, if desired, can be removed in just 40 minutes and installed with new ones of a different shade.
The roadster with a range of 3825 km has a black body and 16-inch wheels. According to the seller, the car is in a new state, like its interior. Speaking about the technical part of the Z1, it is equipped with a 2.5-liter 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of 168 hp. (222 Nm), with which a 5-speed manual transmission and a rear-wheel drive system work.
As the seller notes, the car was purchased in Italy and was almost never used. Although the reason for the rare operation was not disclosed, it is known that the car was brought to the United States by Lotus of Jacksonville. As for the cost of the car put up for sale, the initial bid on it is $ 50,000
In addition, some time ago it was reported that a very strange lowrider pickup was put up for sale. It should be emphasized that in the work on the car body, elements from such cars as Toyota Celica, Lexus GS and Jaguar were used.
