BMW X6 has got a special color VantablackAugust 28, 2019
The blackest color in the world has received a new generation of BMW X6 – Vantablack VBx2 coating can absorb up to 99% of the light.
BMW experts collaborated with Levitation 29 representatives and Vantablack Surrey Nano Systems employees developed the X6, which became the blackest in the world. It is assumed that in the future this color will be able to replace the camouflage coating, as it will hide most of the auto parts.
In general, coverage justifies the means. For example, to see the innovations of the 2018-2019 BMW X6 in the photo is simply unrealistic. In addition to flashlights and some details, the car resembles a black void.
The third generation X6 has an X5 design and a coupe-like roof line. In the USA, the model is available in all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive versions. They have a three-liter turbo engine that has 335 horsepower. In addition, there is a modification of the X6 M50i, which acquired a V8 twin-turbo powerplant with a capacity of 523 horsepower. Together with both engines operates an eight-speed automatic transmission.
As for the interior, there is a 12-inch infotainment display and a digital instrument panel of the same size.
The cost of such a model starts at 65 thousand dollars. Already in November of this year, cars will begin to arrive at dealerships.
