Soon the Bavarian concern will launch a new version of the crossover BMW X5, the cost of which has already been disclosed. So, in the North American market the novelty will be offered from 60,700 dollars.

The new version of the BMW X5 debuted at the beginning of this summer. The fourth version of the popular model has become more spacious and more spacious than its predecessor. Unfortunately, the date for the launch of the novelty in Russia has not yet been reported, but the local division of BMW has already published information on its portal.

In the United States, implementation will begin in the near future, but the network has been disclosed the cost of the initial configuration. So, the most affordable version will be xDrive40i – it was estimated at 60,700 dollars.

The basic equipment will receive a three-liter turbo engine with a maximum developed capacity of up to 340 horsepower. A more expensive and powerful version of the X5 50i xDrive will be equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of up to 462 hp. Also, two diesel modifications will be available – X5 xDrive30d (249 hp) and X5 M50d (400 hp).

It is assumed that all versions of the new BMW X5 will be equipped with a proprietary system of intelligent full-drive xDrive of the new generation, and will also receive an electronic locking rear differential system, adaptive shock absorbers with variable degree of rigidity, as well as adjustable air suspension.

In the regular and additional equipment, you can see up to eight airbags, a digital instrument panel, an infotainment system, many electronic assistants and active safety systems, a leather interior with decorative trim made of natural wood, comfortable chairs, as well as a panoramic roof and climate system with filters.

In the meantime, a new version of the BMX X2 from the M-Perfomance unit will be available soon, and possibly will receive the unit by 300 hp. The X2 M35i was spotted by spies during testing at the Nürburgring Ring.
