BMW X5 M turned into a 670-hp supercarJuly 23, 2018
The Polish studio Auto-Dynamics has presented a program of modifications for the charged BMW X5 M. After the modernization, the Bavarian crossover has become more powerful than the Lamborghini Urus: the output of the 4.4-liter bi-turbo eight was 670 horsepower and 880 Nm of torque. The Urus has 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque, respectively.
To increase the G-8’s power, Auto-Dynamics specialists had to rewrite the program of the electronic control unit, install a high-performance air filter and the titanium exhaust system Akrapovic. As a result, the BMW X5 M, called Avalanche, can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, whereas a normal crossover takes 4.2 seconds. Urus does this exercise in 3.7 seconds.
To give the aggressive appearance of the BMW X5 M Avalanche was tightened in a black matte film, added a few details of carbon fiber, and everything else was painted black again. In addition, the crossover was installed lowered suspension Hamann.
The next generation BMW X5 M will debut until the end of 2019. According to rumors, the crossover will receive a 4.4-liter eight, the return of which will bring to 600 horsepower. It is not excluded that the model will get a set of Competition Package, and consequently, the capacity of the unit can grow up to 625 forces, like the new M5.
