BMW X5 M is tested at the NurburgringJuly 13, 2018
Charged crossover of a new generation demonstrated to the photoshooters an aggressive ride on the racing track.
The Bavarian manufacturer is preparing for the premiere a “hot” modification of the popular crossover BMW X5 with a prefix M. The spy photos of the novelties appeared on the web even earlier, and now the test prototype of the premium SUV was filmed on video during the aggressive tests at the Nurburgring.
Behind the large radiator grille there is a powerful bi-turbo V8 with a capacity of 4.4 liters, the power of which is supposedly about 600 hp. True, the X5 M crossover will be offered in a more powerful version with the Competition package. For example, the BMW M5 sedan with the Competition package gives out 617 hp. power, approximately the same figures can be expected from the cross.
Recall, the new BMW M5, presented last year, is equipped with a motor S63B44T4 V8 volume of 4.4 liters, the return is 591 hp and 750 Nm of torque. As mentioned above, with the Competition package the power increases to 617 hp, while the torque remains the same – 750 Nm.
Charged »BMW X5 M of the previous generation, received the index F85, was introduced in 2015. It was equipped with an engine S63B44T2 V8 capacity of 4.4 liters, the return of which was 575 hp and 750 Nm of torque. In this configuration, the car dialed the first 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
Recall, the BMW X5 G05 was introduced in early summer of 2018.
