BMW X5 M and M8 caught the eye on videoMarch 1, 2019
The network has repeatedly come across photos of test prototypes of “charged” versions, but now eyewitnesses managed to photograph both models during road tests on public roads.
Eyewitnesses on the country road in Sweden managed to shoot the “charged” versions of the BMW X5 M and M8. Moreover, the new “eight” was in the back of a convertible. Unfortunately, the video was shot very poorly, and even in portrait mode, which makes it impossible to examine the car in detail. But early spy photos will allow it much better.
However, the video gives us the opportunity to see how the BMW X5 M crossover accelerates sharply, and we can also hear the sound of the engine. As a power unit under the hood hides 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine. Power is still unknown, as well as the date of market entry, but we can see one or two models from this video at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5th. Then all the details will be known.
Experts suggest that the models will be on sale before the end of this year, but the cost and exact characteristics are not yet known.
