BMW X1 is ready for a small restylingOctober 18, 2018
BMW has put on a road test compact crossover X1 2019 model year. The car received a small restyling of the front and rear.
In all likelihood, BMW is ready to launch a restyled X1 crossover on the market. This is evidenced by fresh spy photos of the crossover, seen on road trials. Apparently, the prototype is already in a fully serial version, and camouflage is unable to hide minimal changes.
Despite the camouflage, the changes are noticeable, and they relate to the new optics, radiator grille and bumpers. The rear end will also receive a new optics, and a new insert between the headlights on the trunk lid. Similar minor changes will take place in the cabin, but the details are not yet known.
The European version of the BMW X1 crossover with petrol engines will be additionally equipped with a particulate filter to meet the new environmental requirements of the Euro-6. Diesel modifications will also receive changes, but in the software of the electronic engine control unit.
The presentation may take place before the end of this year within the framework of the Internet presentation. However, it is quite possible that the public debut will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019.
We also recall that BMW has finally revealed its new large crossover X7.
