After the demonstration of the BMW iX3, it became clear that the German corporation will also release other environmentally friendly cars that are currently in vogue.
The BMW iX1 will be the debut model in a new series of electric cars.
In the future, BMW is going to demonstrate hatches and iX2, which will receive electric motors. In addition, the German concern intends to develop compact coupes and electric vehicles from the Mini sub-brand.
According to rumors, the iX1 will receive a battery with a capacity of 76 kW / h, providing a range of about 450 km, and the performance of the electric motor will be 200 hp.
As for the competitors of the iX1, there will be enough of them, as the number of compact electric vehicles is expected to increase in the near future. For example, Skoda Enyaq will be a direct competitor to the upcoming German car.
The BMW iX1 will be offered in five different versions with two or one engine, depending on the type of drive.
In addition, it was recently noted that the new BMW 7-Series was captured for the first time. There is no information about the technical characteristics of the novelty yet. At the same time, it is known that the updated sedan will debut no earlier than 2022.
