BMW will bring to Geneva a prototype i4January 18, 2020
A German company can demonstrate a pre-production variation of the i4 at the Geneva auto show.
The BMW Blog agency informs that this prototype will fully repeat the serial modification of the car. The new model should have a more extreme design than the prototype i Vision Dynamics, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017.
The new BMW i4 will receive an electric motor with a capacity of approximately 523 hp. This motor makes it possible to accelerate to the “first” hundred in about 4 seconds, and the maximum speed is 200 km / h.
The electric motor will be powered by a battery of 80 kW / h, and its mass will be 550 kg. Through the use of innovative technologies, one charge is enough for 600 km.
According to the representatives of the German brand, the new product will support fast charging up to 150 kW. Charge the battery up to 80% in just 35 minutes. To ensure a power reserve of 100 km, it will take 6 minutes.
Spy shots of the new i4 provide an opportunity to consider the appearance of the car. The design of the electric car guesses the features of the 3- and 4-Series Gran Coupe. As noted in BMW, the model will acquire a sporty and elegant design, as well as a roomy and functional interior.
