BMW unveils pre-production electric scooter with huge displayNovember 12, 2020
Motorrad’s Definition CE 04 embodies the Bavarian vision of modern mobility
An hour before the launch of the iNext electric crossover presentation, BMW introduced the Motorrad Definition CE 04 electric scooter. The model is a concept that is very close to mass production, the manufacturer says.
Unfortunately, the Bavarian concern does not provide almost any details. Neither the power nor the speed of the scooter is known, and the power reserve can be judged only by the words “urban” and the assurance that the average daily mileage of owners of such vehicles does not exceed 12 kilometers. That is, Motorrad Definition CE 04 is not intended for long-distance trips.
The main focus of the creators is on usability and ergonomics. The scooter features the largest 10.25-inch display in its class, replacing the instrument panel. The owner’s smartphone is connected to it, which turns the display into a full-fledged communicator.
The release says the model is ready for serial production several times. At the same time, BMW does not name any specific dates for putting it on the conveyor.
