BMW turned out to be the most attractive employer in its segmentDecember 10, 2019
According to a study by Universum in 2019, the BMW Group ranks first in terms of job attractiveness among all automakers. In addition, the company proved to be popular in other segments.
The well-known international organization Universum has conducted studies on the attractiveness of large companies as employers for young professionals. The Bavarian concern BMW Group turned out to be the most attractive in the segment of the automotive industry, and also has high attention among IT specialists.
So, BMW was in fourth place among the most desirable employers in the IT field after Google, Microsoft and Apple.
“Being a very attractive employer is extremely important for us in recruiting the best specialists in a highly competitive market,” explained Ilka Horstmeier, member of the HR Board and HR Director at BMW AG. “We are successfully creating a sustainable model of vehicles of the future – and this makes us more attractive as an employer. But we, of course, do not rest on our laurels. ”
It is worth noting that the study was conducted on the basis of a wide survey of students from 12 well-known higher educational institutions. A total of 240,000 people were interviewed.
According to the study, another important incentive for future and existing employees is the strong emotional appeal of BMW Group products.
