According to official data, the high-performance Bavarian sedan in the anniversary version of the Edition 35 will receive an impressive 617 hp. power. A total of 350 new items will be built. As a basis for the new version of the model, the more powerful M5 Competitio was used.

The BMW M5 is a distinct topic of conversation in the current sports sedan market. This car can offer its owners not only the level of comfort for which the 5-Series sedans have always been famous, but also a fairly powerful engine. Thanks to the latter, the BMW M5 boasts impressive dynamic performance that matches or even surpasses that of supercars or even hypercars.

It is hard to believe that this year, this model is already 35 years old. In honor of this momentous event, the new version of the Bavarian car received the corresponding name M5 Edition 35 Years.

It is reported that employees of the BMW Individual division worked on this jubilee car. All models will receive a special exterior shade called the BMW Individual Frozen Dark Gray II, a matte color, which is complemented by an exclusive 20-inch BMW M rim with Y-shaped spokes, trimmed with graphite gray. The brake calipers are also dark in color with a black glossy finish. According to company representatives, the exterior and interior of the car turned out to be “elegant and restrained.”

The interior contains dark BMW Individual Merino seats with black M Sport leather trim, which contrast with beige contrast stitching. The center console, dashboard and door panels received a gold finish. On the doorsteps there is an additional gold finish with greater marking.

BMW will release a commemorative version of the M5 with a circulation of 350 copies, each of which uses the powerful version of the M5 Competition as the basis. This means that under the hood is a 617-horsepower V8 Twin-Turbo engine with a displacement of 4.4 liters, which transmits power to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic.
