BMW showed E30 M3 Ronnie Fieg Edition and M4 KithOctober 16, 2020
BMW Corporation unveiled the M3 Ronnie Fieg Edition and M4 Design Study by Kith on Friday October 16th.
Described as two exclusive show cars, the models are developed as part of a partnership between BMW M and the American fashion brand Kith. According to the manufacturer, the partnership began with the fact that the founder of Kith Ronnie Fieg sent his E30 M3 production year 1989 to Germany for restoration using original parts. The idea was to give the 31-year-old car the look of a new car.
Thus, the model has acquired an original steering wheel and special leather trim with embossed Kith monograms. Many of these same elements were added to the M4 Competition, which has a red body like the E30 M3. Along with this, the car received a Kith nameplate on the trunk and the logo of the same brand on the seat headrests. The front seats also feature illuminated Kith emblems.
Since the show car is based on the M4 Competition, it is equipped with a 3.0-liter inline twin-turbo engine with a capacity of 503 hp. and 650 Nm of torque. This power provides acceleration to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 290 km / h.
In addition, it was recently noted that they noticed the concept of a “charged” station wagon BMW M3 Touring. It should be emphasized that the upcoming car of the German company was noticed near the Nürburgring race track. Speaking about the exact date of the debut of the new item, it remains unknown.
