At the Beijing Auto Show, the BMW-Brilliance joint venture unveiled an extended version of the 5-Series sedan. It is reported that the new product has a length of 5 106 mm, which corresponds to the dimensions of the BMW 7-Series. Manufacturers are currently developing a captain-style four-seat sedan, according to Chinese media reports.
In China, the new “five” from BMW can be selected in an extended version. Along with this, the new product from the 7-Series will get a multimedia system that supports gesture control, a panoramic glass roof Sky Lounge and additional screens for rear passengers.
The new BMW 5-Series will be available to Chinese customers in several versions. BMW 535 Le will receive a hybrid power plant based on a 2-liter turbo engine with a total output of 288 hp. In addition, the BMW 525 Li with 181 hp will go on sale. and 530 Li with a return of 248 forces. The cost of the new BMW 5-Series in the long version is not yet known.
