BMW revealed an updated 1-Series sedan exclusively for ChinaOctober 27, 2019
The Brilliance-BMW plant has released an updated 1-Series sedan in China. The presentation of the original 1-Series sedan took place in 2016 under the name F52. The machine is based on the UKL architecture.
The updated car acquired a regular M-body kit in all versions except the initial one. This sedan has rear and front bumpers in a sporty style, and a new steering wheel and a digital dashboard have appeared in the interior.
Changes affected the technical part. Instead of the standard 118i with 136 hp only 120i will be offered with a 1.5-liter engine producing 140 hp. And the 120i model gave way to the 125i with 192 hp, and the model with a 231 hp engine. stopped releasing. In place of the 8-speed automatic transmission came the 7-band “robot”.
But now all 1-Series in all trim levels will be equipped with LED optics, side airbags, rain sensors, leather interiors, as well as a multimedia system with an 8.8-inch screen.
The cost of the updated model in China starts from 198,800 yuan, and 125i – from 243,800 yuan
