BMW officially introduced the limited sedan M3 CSNovember 8, 2017
Bavarian brand BMW officially introduced the most “hardcore” version of it’s 3-series sedan – M3 CS. The novelty is located on the step above the modification of the M3 Competition Package.
Less than two weeks from the moment when the M3 CS “lit up” almost without camouflage at the Nurburgring. Everything said that the sedan is ready for the debut. And so, this late autumn night, the brand finally officially introduced it.
Specifications of the car did not surprise. Long before the premiere, rumors circulated that under the hood of the BMW M3 CS there will be a three-liter biturbed 6 cylinder with a return of 460 horsepower, and today this information was confirmed. The engine uses the proprietary Double-VANOS gas distribution system, cold air intake, direct high-pressure fuel injection, and a new exhaust system. Coupled with the seven-speed “robot” DCT, the sedan can accelerate to “hundreds” in 3.9 seconds. With all this, blame the car for “gluttony” will not work: the combined fuel consumption is declared at around 8.3 liters per 100 kilometers.

Suspension of the car inherited from the M3 version with the Competition Package, but for M3 CS it was reconfigured to provide the maximum “hook”, however, the Bavarians also did not forget about the public roads – the Dynamic Mode for comfortable mode was also reconfigured. As standard, the machine will be shod in 265/35 R19 wheels at the front and 285/30 R20 at the rear with half-juices Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2.
In the BMW M3 CS interior, you can find leather, Alcantara, Harman Kardon music, and Navigation system Professional.
The price tag has not yet been received, but it is already known that it will be released in an amount of 1,200 copies. Orders for the BMW M3 CS will be accepted from January 2018, but the start of production is scheduled for March.
