BMW offers customers a subscription to a built-in radar detectorNovember 17, 2020
Owners of cars of the Bavarian brand will be able to receive information on the speed of a car in real time for only $ 25.
A new option is part of the ConnectedDrive package: it will alert drivers about running speed and speed systems. The location of the traffic cameras is shared by a nationwide network, along with various kinds of radars and laser detectors.
All this guarantees verified and up-to-date data, which is broadcast by the virtual dashboard in real time. Owners of individual cars of the 2021 model year will be able to test the new function: the brand will provide them with a trial version for three months, writes Auto News.
After the trial period ends, BMW customers will be able to continue using the service for only $ 25.
BMW previously showed off a new electric crossover called the iX. The novelty is striking not only in terms of technology. The output of the power plant reaches 500 hp, and the cruising range will be about 600 kilometers without recharging.
