BMW M3 Touring powertrain details revealedOctober 7, 2020
Although the BMW M3 Touring is still at least two years away from release, rumors have already begun to appear about the new product.
BMW Blog, based on its source, the M3 Touring will receive automatic transmission and all-wheel drive by default. Recall that the recently introduced M3 Competition sedan has a similar bundle.
Like the sedan, the M3 Touring will have a 3.0-liter, 503-horsepower (650 Nm) twin-turbo engine that is expected to accelerate to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 250 km / h. At the same time, if the German manufacturer releases the M Driver package, the maximum speed will increase to 290 km / h.
Note that the German company BMW is already testing the M3 Touring. The novelty is expected to borrow the front and rear from the standard M3 model, while at the same time getting a longer roof. In turn, the premiere of this car is one of the most anticipated from BMW, since the German brand has never produced such a car before.
In addition, it was recently noted that an updated modification of the BMW X4 crossover was noticed during tests. It should be emphasized that the concept of the novelty has camouflage on the front and rear, and also a dent on the front passenger door.
