The BMW M3 station wagon was spotted near the Nürburgring. A blogger published the corresponding video on his Youtube channel.

Recall that the new product of the German brand should debut no earlier than in two years. It is already known that the station wagon will not receive a rear-wheel drive system and a 6-speed manual transmission, since this combination will not be able to recoup the development costs.

The M3 station wagon is supposed to be offered exclusively in the Competition version, therefore, it will receive a 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine with a capacity of 503 hp. (650 Nm). The drive will be full, and the transmission will be an 8-speed automatic transmission. Speaking of the dynamic performance of the upcoming novelty, then, given that the M3 sedan and M4 coupe accelerate to 96 km / h in 3.8 seconds, you can expect acceleration to the same speed in about 4 seconds. In turn, the top speed is likely to be 250 km / h as standard and 290 km / h with the optional M Driver package.

The M3 wagon should also get a stiffer suspension, reinforced brakes and redesigned steering. As for the design of the novelty, it will acquire a branded large “nostrils”, modified bumpers and large side “skirts”.

In addition, it was recently noted that the tuning company G-Power has modernized the BMW M5. It should be emphasized that the cost of modifications from this studio for the German model is quite high – 115,000 euros.
