BMW M Coupe revived on the basis of the new Z4September 25, 2018
Back in 1998, the market came out an amazing car from BMW called M Coupe. It is worth noting that the sports station wagon did not deserve much popularity, and was produced from 1998 to 2002. Now a new version is shown, the design of which is impressive.
Independent designers decided to conduct their own reincarnation of the model, which was produced 20 years ago. They felt that the BMW M Coupe deserved a second chance at life, and the reason for this was the launch of the new BMW Z4 roadster. The car from the end of the last century was built on the basis of the Z3, and its design was rather strange, but everything changes if we imagine a new roadster Z4 in the body of the Shooting Brake.
First of all, it’s worth noting that the render of the novelty looks really impressive, and it’s very difficult to distinguish the image from the photo. This is additionally impressive, especially since the model looks modern and in the spirit of the times. Apparently, changes in the front part are not foreseen by designers, but the rear part has changed completely.
The image was much “steeper” than the previously released M Coupe, and the model now looks like it should – sporty, stylish, aggressive and modern. It seems long and low, which contradicts the original and vertical proportions of the original M Coupe. Instead of looking like a car on which a large body was mounted on top, as it was 20 years ago, the impression is created of a completely, from scratch, designed design.
Smooth lines with a swift manner, multi-level LED optics, and the complicated shape of the rear window are impressive and the wide tips of the exhaust pipes create a complete picture of the car, ready for serial production. However, we can only look at the render from Rain Prisk.
Unfortunately, there is very little chance of a new BMW M Coupe. Now consumers and car manufacturers are aimed at the segment of crossovers and SUVs. And models similar to the M Coupe – these are niche offers that do not enjoy mass demand.
Meanwhile, the network appeared a cross-universal from the Bavarian concern BMW. The independent designer Aksenov Nikita decided to imagine how the BMW 3-Series X-Cross Render could look.
