BMW is testing a prototype of the updated crossover X1August 16, 2020
Pictures have appeared on the Web showing camouflaged prototypes of the updated Bavarian crossover BMW X1, which are being transported on a trailer. This time, the camouflage has become less, so you can see the details of the updated exterior of the novelty.
Foreign journalists were able to capture the prototype of the smallest crossover of the Bavarian brand. The car body was covered with camouflage. The new X1 was spotted in the trailer along with other disguised prototypes of the novelty.
There really isn’t much of a difference between this X1 prototype and those crossover test units we’ve seen in the past, with the exception of a set of black rims.
Notably, the false radiator grille remains relatively small compared to the updated 4 Series Coupe, and the headlights now almost “touch” the front fenders.
At the rear of the spotted prototype there is a huge spoiler with a third brake light, but the exhaust pipes are completely invisible. There are cutouts in the film that covers the taillights, which gives us the opportunity to see their updated graphics.
Meanwhile, BMW has confirmed in a recent press release that the updated X1 crossover, like the 5 Series sedan, will have an all-electric version. A similar performance is expected for the flagship 7 Series sedan.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote that an image of the BMW M3 Touring station wagon appeared on the network. On the Internet they published a render of the BMW M3 Touring station wagon. The corresponding image was developed by the artist under the nickname zer.o.wt on Instagram.
