1-Off, based in Italy, announced the revival of the Taraschi brand, which operated from 1947 to 1961.

Now under this brand, the Berardo hybrid supercar is being produced, which is in fact a significantly modified BMW i8. By the way, this model is named after the founder of the Meccanica Taraschi company.

When developing the exterior of the car, specialists were inspired by the Giaur 750 Sport Champion model, and this is no coincidence, since it is the most successful car of Berardo Taraschi. In turn, aluminum was used for the manufacture of the original body, and only the presence of lifting doors reminds of the car of the German brand. The salon, for the decoration of which they used aged leather and wood, has not acquired any innovations.

The engine compartment remains untouched. That is, the car is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline “turbo-engine”, together with which an electric motor and an 11.8 kW / h battery operate. But if on the i8 model the engine power was 374 hp, then on the hybrid its output was increased to 420 hp. At the same time, it is possible to increase this indicator to 470 – 520 hp.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h takes 4.4 seconds for the BMW i8 and 3.9 seconds for the Taraschi. In turn, the first car is capable of maximum acceleration up to 250 km / h, and the second – up to 278 km / h. Note that the hybrid supercar was shown at the Automobile Museum in Turin. Apparently, applications have already begun to be accepted. Each copy costs 800 thousand euros

In addition, it was recently noted that the McLaren 765LT supercar turned out to be faster than expected. It should be emphasized that the British automaker has also shared the first pictures of the new special modifications to the model.
