BMW i4 presented in the form of a “liquid” sculptureFebruary 25, 2020
BMW says it has chosen the Geneva Motor Show as the scene for the presentation of the Concept i4, a demo version of the all-electric Gran Coupe brand.
BMW will launch the i4 in 2021, the all-electric Gran Coupe, which, of course, must first be presented in conceptual form before entering the market. The i4 concept will be unveiled in Geneva, which is expected to be a glimpse of the pre-production new EV predecessor. The press release accompanying the new teasers contains only two paragraphs, but this is because BMW has already revealed quite a lot of details regarding the i4 ready for release.
I4 rolls off the assembly line in Munich in 2021. The electric BMW receives an 80 kWh battery, which is suitable for 600 kilometers of power reserve in the WLTP cycle. The electric “heart” itself has a power of 531 hp, which allows it to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.0 seconds. The maximum speed is 200 km / h. A battery with a 150 kW charger can be charged up to 80% of its capacity in about 35 minutes.
But before BMW releases the serial i4, this year the iX3 will officially debut as the X3 crossover with zero emissions, which BMW is actively testing on snowy tracks. They will be followed by iNext, which will become the flagship EV company in the form of an SUV. Meanwhile, the premiere of Concept i4 will be held March 3, 2020 at the Geneva Motor Show.
