BMW M will launch a new supercar that will compete with the Lamborghini. The plans to create a car for every day, that is, the company did not consider the option of high-power hypercars.
Earlier, Markus Flash, the head of the BMW M division, said that the company does not need to release new supercars, since this role is perfectly performed by the BMW M8. However, now she does not deny the appearance of a new model.
A huge number of fans of the German automaker have long been expecting the appearance of a new supercar that can compete with Ferrari and Lamborghini. However, last summer we were informed that the company has no plans to release a new supercar in the near future, and they have a BMW M8. Today it is the fastest car brand at the Nurburgring. However, information later appeared that the company had not abandoned the mid-engined supercar project.
Marcus Flash noted that the future novelty will definitely not become a high-powered hypercar like the Mercedes-AMG One. BMW plans to create a car for every day. The power plant will be hybrid or electric. The mid-engined engine for the BMW M will force developers to team up with BMW i to develop.
At the moment, there is no information about the design of the future BMW M supercar, its approximate cost and the date of entry into the market.
