Bavarians started to develop a new generation of its popular cross-coupe BMW X4, the conceptual version of which was shown in Shanghai in 2013.
As noted, the new product will be significantly different from its predecessor, and will receive a completely new architecture already used for the BMW X3. As for the engine range of new products, where all engines operating on conventional fuel, the most powerful of them will be 400-hp six-cylinder power unit.
In addition, it is reported that on board of the new X4 located new generation electronics, which will be updated every three years – it significantly enhance the ability of the media and electronic assistants, without making any structural changes.
But in terms of the exterior of the new BMW X4, most likely, will not change, except for such light touches as revised bumpers, a modified grille and upgraded optics.
