BMW has announced at the Paris Motor Show a schedule for the release of new electric cars. In total by 2021 the line of cars on batteries will consist of five models, one of which will be a car with the i4 index.
One of the closest novelties of the German group will be the MINI hatchback on electric traction, which will appear in 2019. The manufacturer has already talked about these cars before, but there was no time for the i4 model to appear.
BMW i4 will reach the assembly line in three years and will be a commodity version of the concept of iVision Dynamics, debuting at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2017. The prototype was equipped with an electric power unit, allowing the car to pass 600 kilometers without recharging. “Hundred” car collects in four seconds, and its maximum speed is 200 kilometers per hour.
According to the development plan for BMW, which was announced in December 2017, until 2025, the company intends to release 25 new models – including twelve cars with fully electric power plants. Power reserve of the top car will reach 800 horsepower.
