BMW began testing BMW M3 CSMay 27, 2020
Like all its predecessors, the next-generation BMW M3 will go a long way.
As before, the G80 M3 boasts several model options, one of which offers the best power-to-weight ratio, probably the M3 CS (Club Sport). The prototype of the “charged” news has a number of details that indicate that we are faced with exactly the M3 CS.
So, you should pay attention to the spoilers in the front and on the trunk in the style of CS, as well as stepped wheels. As with the previous model, the next-generation M3 CS will also have many upgrades compared to the standard G80 M3 that the eyes cannot see. They will likely include a technical upgrade, a unique exhaust system, a carbon fiber hood and roof for less weight, unique wheels wrapped in ultra-high performance tires, and microfiber suede interior parts.
We should also expect a revised DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) system, a different limited-slip differential and improved driving modes, which gives it an additional advantage over the smaller M3.
These photos also give the clearest picture of the G80 M3 carbon fiber sports seats. The rest of the cabin will be very similar to the regular M340i, but with carbon fiber trim, a special steering wheel and BMW M badges.
A new S58 engine from the X3 M and X4 M will be installed in the engine compartment of the G80 M3. It is estimated that the 3.0-liter turbocharged engine will provide 473 hp in the base model and 503 hp in M3. Logic will dictate that the M3 CS will have even more power.
