At one of the factories of the Bavarian brand BMW, serial production of the updated 4 Series coupe started. The novelty will go on sale in October this year.

This is an important week for the BMW factory in southern Bavaria, as several completely new models / updated versions of existing models “got up” on the conveyor. Among the new products is the next generation of the 4 Series coupe with huge “nostrils” (proprietary false radiator grille). A hot version of the M440i xDrive is also assembled at production facilities, which serves as the family’s interim flagship until the debut of the high-performance M4 Coupe in mid-September.

Despite the fact that the updated BMW 4 Series coupe went into mass production, the market entry is actually scheduled for early October.

BMW is also preparing to debut the new 4 Series Convertible – this time with a soft top. This version of the model will also receive the M-version and will also be assembled at this factory.

As for other cars, the mass production of which is now established at this plant of the company in Dingolfing, then among them there is an updated sedan and station wagon 5 Series, high-performance M5 and 6 Series Gran Turismo liftback. Yes, this car is still available in some parts of the world.

Another model we expect to see at the Dingolfing factory is the high-performance M5 business sedan in an even more powerful version of the CS. It is expected that the power of this new limited edition car will be 650 hp.

Operating since 1973, this BMW plant is also responsible for the production of a number of other models of the company, including the 4 Series Gran Coupe, as well as the 8 Series coupe / convertible. The plant also produces several “hybrids,” such as the 530e and 745e.

Approximately 1,500 vehicles should roll off the assembly line every day. From the first day of work, more than 10 million cars were produced. In total, the company employs about 18,000 workers, as well as 800 students.
