BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe M850i appeared on the new photosDecember 12, 2018
The long-awaited BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe M850i is already close to the presentation. New spy photos give a complete picture of the novelty, which looks the same as the coupe, but with practical rear doors.
The BMW 8-Series will soon receive an expansion of the family due to the appearance of the four-door Gran Coupe M850i sedan. This is indicated by new spy photos showing camouflaged test prototypes. The model was seen by eyewitnesses on the public roads of Munich in Germany.
The company has already removed part of the camouflage from the front, where you can see the preserved design of the figure-eight cuma. The rest of the camouflage film hides only small details. It is noteworthy that the “charged” version could pass the tests – this can be seen from the blue brake calipers.
If the M-version is confirmed, then a bi-turbocharged V8 unit with a displacement of 4.4 liters, capable of developing up to 523 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, can be used as a power unit. Presumably, the future Gran Coupe will be able to compete on the road with the Porsche Panamera, Audi A7 Sportback and Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.
The debut of the 8-Series Gran Coupe M850i will be presented as early as next year, but the exact date and price tag have not yet been reported.
Also note that at the end of the week, Formula E Racer races in Saudi Arabia begin. The Bavarian concern will also present their cars, and showed a new eDrive01 transmission for the car.
