BMW 745e with a hybrid installation from X5 will be released in 2018November 5, 2017
The donor will be a plug-in hybrid X5 xDrive45e crossover.
German automotive concern BMW is replacing the hybrid version of its flagship 740Le sedan with a more powerful one. The novelty with the index BMW 745e will appear in the next year. Specifications are not yet known, but the BMWBlog resource reports that the improved version can get more power.
In February 2016, a hybrid sedan BMW 740Le in the body of the G12 was introduced. It was equipped with a two-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbo-supercharging power of 255 horsepower and an electric motor for 111 “horses” The total output of this powerplant was 322 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Now it will be replaced by a new system already embodied in the famous cross.
Let’s remind, that BMW X5 xDrive45e is completed with a hybrid installation with total return in 308 horsepowers and 450 Nanometers. It includes the same two-liter petrol engine and electric motor. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h for the electrified cross is 6.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is 209 km/h.
