BMW 4-Series coupe unveiled before official launchJune 1, 2020
Images of the company booklet with photos and characteristics of the car hit the Web just a couple of days before the official premiere.
Very soon, the new BMW 4-Series coupe will be officially unveiled. However, much has been declassified before the presentation. On Monday, June 1, pictures of the official booklet, which depicts a high-profile novelty, hit the Web. The car received an interesting design of the grille – branded “nostrils” were stretched up and inside consisted of air intakes-cells. But the optics, although they received changes, are not so significant – the taillights have the same two-component design, and the front optics retained their pattern.
It is worth noting that in the images we see the most powerful modification of the M440i xDrive. This is indicated by laser head optics, side mirrors with a darkened body design, sports low-profile tires and the absence of fog lights. The interior of the novelty was declassified earlier in spy photos – it almost completely copies the interior of the BMW 3-Series.
It is expected that the maximum configuration of the car will receive a hybrid power plant. It will consist of a 3.0-liter engine and a 48-volt starter-generator. The total return is 385 hp.
It is possible that we will see an all-wheel drive version. The official press service of the German brand announced that the presentation of the new item in digital format will be held on June 2 at 16:00 CET.
Earlier it became known that BMW would temporarily abandon sales of the M2 car in Europe. This happened due to the tightening of environmental standards. Again we can see the BMW M2 no earlier than 2022, when a new generation of cars comes out.
