Mulgari has introduced a two-door Icon03
The British designer house Mulgari introduced a special version of the BMW 2 Series, the image of which refers to the iconic M-cars of the past. The coupe called Icon03 and is based on the modification of the M240i. Circulation – only 25 copies.
In Mulgari, the aim was to create a “pure driving experience”, to bring the driver to a state of euphoria from unity with the car. To this end, the original BMW M240i rearranged the body: they expanded and extended the overlays for the wheel arches in the style of the E30 M3 and installed a carbon roof with a recess in the center of the E46 M3 CSL. A splitter also appeared on the front bumper, and on the wings – gills to remove heat from the engine.
Icon03 has a three-liter turbo four B58, the output of which brought up to 500 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque. Exhaust – Akrapovič. Improved suspension and steering. Mulgari’s technical partners, in addition to Akrapovič, were Recaro, KW Automotive and Peron. In the cabin of coupe appeared cut below the steering wheel, stalk petals of carbon fiber and carbon racing seats.
In July of this year, Mulgari intends to organize a check in Icon03 for the Nurburgring and promises to make a documentary about it. According to preliminary information, the price of the car can be 69 000 pounds sterling.
